This annual event is North America’s largest display of specialty foods and beverages, gathering attendees from more than 80 countries. From June 30 to July 2, chefs, food buyers, restaurateurs, retailers, reporters and other foodies converged in New York City to explore an astonishing 180,000 products ranging from confections, snacks and spices to ethnic and organic foods. Celebrity host Chef Marcus Samuelsson welcomed 2,300 exhibitors and their exciting innovations, with a record number of contestants seeking recognition in their specialty.
